Jessalyn Miller
About
Jessalyn Miller is an audio engineer and radio producer with experience across radio, television, podcasting, and video editing. She earned her Master of Science in Audio Engineering from Belmont University in 2023 and her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Alabama in 2021, graduating magna cum laude with University Honors.

Her love for storytelling began early through music, but she discovered a passion for mixing, mastering, and producing audio in her sophomore year of college. She shifted her focus from music education to audio engineering, combining her classical training with technical skills to bring stories to life across a variety of media, including music in genres like country, rock, jazz, and classical, as well as podcasts, radio broadcasts, and other audio projects.

Jessalyn has developed expertise not only in audio, but also in video and multimedia production. She works with tools such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, and Canva, creating polished content that engages audiences across multiple platforms.

In spring 2023, she interned at The Cast Collective in Nashville, TN, gaining hands-on experience in video and audio production, live sound, podcast editing, and long- and short-form content creation. She contributed to projects including Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, The Two Percent Podcast, The Sweet House Podcast, and Rooted Recovery Stories. Since graduating, she has continued collaborating with The Cast Collective, Delta Airlines, and personal projects on social media, honing her storytelling skills through every medium.

In February 2025, Jessalyn began her dream role as a radio producer for three small stations covering East Alabama and West Georgia. She writes, records, and produces commercials, interviews, and special programs, and manages a team of 10 for high school football broadcasts across multiple channels and NFHS. She also runs social media for all three stations, bringing stories to audiences both on air and online.

Outside of work, Jessalyn enjoys painting, reading, writing, and spending time with her cats, Milo and Olive. She is also passionate about community service, caring for a nearby feral cat colony.
